AI-Enabled Observability
AI-enabled observability is the use of machine learning and AI to interpret large volumes of application, infrastructure, network, security, log, trace, and event data. In EP 14: What is Observability?, Ed Ferron says observability systems receive too much data for humans to manually connect, so vendors are beginning to combine machine-learning models and AI with observability tools.
The source frames AI as an analysis accelerator rather than an engineer replacement. The useful work is correlating signals, detecting anomalous relationships, summarizing context, and helping teams act before customers feel sustained damage.
