Fallopian tube access diagnostics is the [[NVisionMedical|nVision Medical]] product thesis in Surbhi Sarna, Founder of nVision Medical. Surbhi Sarna argues that if many ovarian cancers originate in the fallopian tube, then diagnostic progress may depend on collecting cells from that hard-to-reach location without surgical access.

The technical difficulty is central. Sarna describes the fallopian tube as narrow, twisting, and usually collapsed unless pressurized. The device therefore used a self-navigating catheter with a linear everting balloon that could unfold into the tube, collect cells, and retract into a sheath to reduce contamination.

The concept is a medical-device version of Hard Problem MVP Scoping. The first goal was not to solve all women’s-health diagnostics at once, but to create a safe access and cell-collection route that physicians could use and that Medical Device Clinical Validation could support.
