State-Owned Ceramic Factory System / 国营瓷厂体系
State-Owned Ceramic Factory System / 国营瓷厂体系 is the post-1949 Jingdezhen production model described in No.213 景德镇往事:千年“世界瓷都”的前世今生. The episode says private workshops were restored, merged, and reorganized into large state-owned and collective ceramic factories, including the commonly remembered “ten big porcelain factories.”
The system rebuilt output and technical coordination through national orders, “Jianguo porcelain,” fuel reform from wood to coal, women entering kiln work, tunnel kilns, and the 7501 porcelain project. Its later decline came when planned-production routines met market competition, credit tightening, weak sales capability, and factory cash-flow breaks.
