In the episode, 赵惠文王赵何 fears both options: refusing 秦昭襄王 may anger 秦国, while accepting may lose the jade without receiving the promised fifteen cities. Lin Xiangru reframes the choice: Zhao should accept, because Qin must then either perform or expose its own bad faith.
