反董卓联盟 / Anti-Dong Zhuo Coalition
Hanji 950 supplies the coalition’s formation scene before the later destruction, inaction, and rupture branches. Guandong commanders raise armies because 董卓’s violence has become intolerable, then select 袁绍 as盟主 and distribute forces across 河内, 邺城, 颍川, 酸枣大营, and Luyang.
The source makes the coalition fragile from inception. 韩馥’s grain role, 王匡’s Henei station, 孔伷’s Yingchuan placement, the crowded Suanzao grouping, and 袁术’s separate Luyang posture create visible scale but not unified command. 郑泰’s warning to Dong Zhuo turns this into an early diagnosis of 利益结构式联盟脆弱性.
Hanji 952 gives the coalition’s dirty prehistory before Hanji 953’s camp inaction. 董卓’s destruction of 洛阳 explains the public enemy frame, but the anti-Dong-Zhuo field is already compromised through Cao Yin’s forged order, Sun Jian’s attack on Wang Rui, and Sun Jian’s killing of Zhang Zi over grain. The coalition story therefore begins with both a real tyrant target and local actors already using fear, forged authority, and logistics coercion.
Hanji 953 shows the coalition’s failure at the Suanzao stage. 曹操 urges action after 董卓 burns Luoyang and moves the emperor west, but the allied armies mostly remain in camp; Cao Cao’s small independent advance ends in defeat at Bianshui. When he returns to Suanzao, he proposes a pass-control containment plan, but the armies refuse and later scatter under food pressure.
Hanji 954 adds the coalition’s title problem before Hanji 955’s battlefield branch and Hanji 958’s office-and-proxy rupture. The coalition is united against 董卓, but 汉献帝 remains the recognized ruler even while controlled by Dong Zhuo. 袁绍 and 韩馥 therefore try to install 刘虞 as an alternative emperor.
The source shows a legitimacy fracture inside the common-enemy frame. 曹操 warns that replacing the emperor would destroy the coalition’s “师出有名,” while 袁术 rejects the same plan from a different incentive structure. Hanji 954 therefore makes the coalition fragile before the later grain, base, and office conflicts: even the public name of the war is contested.
Hanji 955 backfills the coalition’s active front before Hanji 958’s rupture account. The episode treats 孙坚 as the coalition’s strongest real battlefield pressure against 董卓, while 袁术’s grain cutoff shows that internal suspicion is already constraining the front-line commander before the shared enemy is removed.
反董卓联盟 / Anti-Dong Zhuo Coalition enters the wiki through Hanji 958 as the late-Han common-enemy frame that breaks almost as soon as it becomes useful. The source says 袁绍 is treated as the alliance leader against 董卓, while 袁术 sends 孙坚 to fight Dong Zhuo’s forces more directly.
The episode’s main point is not that the coalition lacks an enemy. Dong Zhuo remains the nominal target, but the participants already treat local offices, rear bases, troops, and family safety as separate games. Yuan Shao’s appointment of 周昂 to take Yangcheng from Sun Jian’s rear and 公孙越’s death while assisting Sun Jian show how the coalition becomes a field of allied sabotage.
The source therefore makes the anti-Dong-Zhuo front a late-Han example of 利益结构式联盟脆弱性. A 共同敌人联盟 can clarify who should be opposed, but it cannot by itself allocate spoils, protect rear areas, or prevent allies from treating one another as future rivals.
