Atoom
Atoom is Edward’s team’s software-track second-prize product from the Xiaohongshu Hackathon Peak Competition in 把7位黑客松选手请进播客|冠军、怪才和48小时不眠的野心家. The name comes from “attention.” The product aims to dynamically adjust or rebuild web pages around what the user currently needs to notice, moving relevant content and buttons into more useful positions.
The project connects the source’s Vibe Coding theme to interface design: once implementation gets faster, the product question becomes where attention should go and what interaction pattern is worth preserving or changing.
Connections
- Edward — team member and interviewee.
- Vibe Coding — implementation acceleration behind the prototype.
- AI Engineering Thinking and Context Engineering — product still needs explicit user state, criteria, and interface boundaries.
- Human-Agent Collaboration — adjacent question of how interfaces adapt to user intent.
- AI Hackathons — event context.
