Atrium

Atrium appears in Justin Kan on the First YC Batch, Justin.tv, Twitch, and Intrinsic Motivation as Justin Kan’s later legal-services startup after the Twitch acquisition. Justin says he started it partly because he compared himself with other successful founders and wanted to build a bigger company.

The source uses Atrium as a founder-psychology and service-business lesson rather than a detailed legal-tech case. It repeats the question Justin had already encountered with Exec: whether a human, expert-heavy service can be systematized enough to scale like software. It also makes Atrium part of Founder Motivation Evolution, because Justin later connected the company to external approval rather than durable intrinsic motivation.
