Hanji 939 supplies the earliest current Baibo marker. The episode says Yellow Turban remnants led by 郭大 rise again in Xihe’s Baibo Valley and attack Taiyuan and 河东郡, making the group part of 188 CE disorder before Dong Zhuo’s court seizure.

Hanji 948 adds an earlier marker before the Yufuluo and emperor-escort branches. In the episode’s closing chronology, the Baibo rebels attack 河东郡, and 董卓 sends 牛辅 to fight them.

The source does not develop Baibo organization here. Its value is chronological: Baibo forces are already active around Dong Zhuo’s early Luoyang court seizure, before later pages use them in 于扶罗’s failed survival path and 汉献帝’s emergency escort field.

Hanji 949 gives the Baibo Army an earlier role in 于扶罗’s survival path. After Yufuluo’s failed appeal to the captured Han court, he joins Baibo forces with several thousand cavalry to attack commanderies and counties, but local fortified settlements keep them from gaining supplies and the campaign costs him troops.

This source makes the Baibo field visible before its later emperor-escort role. The group is already part of the armed opportunism created by late-Han court collapse, but cooperation with Yufuluo does not create a stable base.

Hanji 986 mentions White Wave-linked leaders indirectly in 皇甫郦’s warning to 李傕. Huangfu Li says they, together with 杨奉, judge Li Jue’s handling of 汉献帝 and the 郭汜 conflict as wrong, making them part of the pressure field before their later emergency escort role.

白波军 / Baibo Army enters the wiki through Hanji 991 as the outside armed pool 董承 and 杨奉 draw on when 李傕 and 郭汜 continue pursuing 汉献帝. The source names 李乐, 韩暹, and 胡才 as former Baibo commanders who bring cavalry to the escort side.

The page is source-scoped. Baibo forces matter here because they make the escort coalition temporarily stronger without making it stable.
