乘氏县 / Chengshi County (Late Han)
乘氏县 / Chengshi County (Late Han) appears in Hanji 980 as the place 吕布 attacks after the prolonged Puyang fight breaks under locust and grain pressure. 李进 defeats him there, after which Lü Bu moves eastward toward Shanyang.
The county is useful as a local-resistance marker in the 兖州 branch. It shows that the campaign’s outcome is not decided only by the dramatic city escape at 濮阳之战, but also by food, morale, and smaller local actors who make further operations harder for Lü Bu.
