丁二（《离婚》） / Ding Er

丁二 is the apparently useless hanger-on in [[LihunNovel|《离婚》]], discussed in 02.离婚：郭德纲都不如老舍有意思. He has lost his wife, keeps birds, drinks, and lives around [[ZhangDageLihun|张大哥]]’s household, so other characters treat him as socially negligible.

The episode’s reversal is that Ding Er becomes the person who acts. After [[XiaoZhaoLihun|小赵]] threatens Zhang Dage’s family, Ding Er kills him, then panics and hides with [[LaoLiLihun|老李]]. The source does not turn this into clean moral approval; it uses him to show that action, fear, usefulness, and dignity can be distributed very differently from social reputation.
