段迅 / Duan Xun (Late Han)
段迅 / Duan Xun enters through Hanji 972 as the court envoy sent to 幽州 with edicts for 刘虞 and 公孙瓒. The edict increases Liu Yu’s fief and gives him six-province oversight, while also granting Gongsun Zan the former-general rank and Marquis of Yi title.
Duan Xun matters because mediation collapses under military coercion. Gongsun Zan uses Duan Xun’s arrival to accuse Liu Yu of colluding with 袁绍 and seeking the imperial title, then pressures Duan Xun into authorizing or standing beside Liu Yu’s marketplace execution.
