Overview

杜崇 / Du Chong was the Eastern Han Protector of the Xiongnu whose current wiki profile spans the An Guo-Shizi crisis and the later Southern Xiongnu false-report punishment. He is paired with Zhu Hui in both intervention and accountability.

Current Profile

In Hanji 768, An Guo was at odds with Du Chong and submitted a complaint against him, but Du Chong had it intercepted by the Xihe governor. Du Chong and Zhu Hui then countercharged An Guo with rebellion and moved troops into the crisis. Hanji 769 later shows Du Chong and Zhu Hui executed after their false reporting in the next phase was exposed.
