Echo Locker

Echo Locker is the lock-screen notification and priority-inbox product in Yin Wu on Pulley, Equity, and Founder Resilience. Yin Wu says the idea came while she was running Prim and receiving customer and social messages while driving, making mobile notification overload the pain that replaced laundry operations as the startup’s focus.

Yin says the team officially shut down the prior company and restarted before going through Y Combinator again in Summer 2013 with Echo Locker. The product was later acquired by Microsoft, where Yin worked for several years before founding Pulley.
