樊丰 / Fan Feng is a late-Han eunuch actor whose profile now begins in the immediate post-Deng favorite network before the forged-edict scandal. Hanji 795 places him beside Jiang Jing, Wang Sheng, and Bo Rong as power gathers around palace favorites; Hanji 799 places him among Zhongchangshi and favored actors whom Yang Zhen criticizes for private benefit; Hanji 800-802 then show forged orders, Yang slander, Liu Bao’s removal, death concealment, and Fan Feng’s own execution in the Yan-side purge.

Hanji 795 first places Fan Feng in the private-benefit network around Emperor An. The source groups him with Jiang Jing, Huangmen Ling Liu An, Goudun Ling Chen Da, Wang Sheng, and Bo Rong as the post-Deng favorite field gains power. It does not yet attribute a specific forged order to him, but it makes him part of the access environment that Yang Zhen criticizes.

Hanji 799 then places Fan Feng in the private-benefit network around Emperor An. Yang Zhen’s memorial says Zhongchangshi Fan Feng, shizhong Zhou Guang, Xie Yun, and others mutually encourage each other and form a party for private gain, disturbing court order. Yang obtains evidence and prepares to report it after An returns, so Fan Feng’s group uses a taishi star report, Yang’s failed rescue of Zhao Teng, and Yang’s old Deng-family association to recode the investigator as resentful and disloyal. Fan Feng’s power is therefore less a stable institutional office than an access-and-slander capacity around a ruler who already dislikes correction.

Hanji 801 then shows Fan Feng in the 124 CE campaign against Liu Bao. Wang Sheng, Fan Feng, and others attack Liu Bao’s wet nurse Wang Nan and kitchen supervisor Bing Ji; when Liu Bao mourns them, Fan Feng fears future retaliation and works with Yan Hou to fabricate evidence against the prince and his palace officers.

Hanji 802 identifies Fan Feng as a eunuch general in the small circle that responds to Emperor An’s death on tour. With Yan Hou and Yan Xian, he participates in hiding the death, preserving routine appearances, and returning to Luoyang before the court can rally around Liu Bao.

The same source then makes Fan Feng an example of unstable post-accession alliance. After the Yan side installs 北乡侯刘懿 / 刘裔, Yan Xian has officials accuse Geng Bao, Fan Feng, Xie Yun, Zhou Guang, Wang Sheng, and others.
