黻服 / Fu Robe
黻服 / Fu robe appears in 《资治通鉴·周纪》11丨 世界风起云涌(1) as the high-grade ritual garment 周显王 gives to 秦献公 after Qin’s victory at 石门之战.
The episode uses the robe to explain how clothing could carry political meaning in the pre-Qin order. The host says upper garments and lower skirts bore symbolic patterns later grouped as 十二华章, and explains 黻 as a pattern of two opposed bows.
Its wiki role is not fashion history alone. The robe makes a military victory legible through Zhou ritual language: Qin’s conquest receives a form of recognition from the still-symbolic 周王室.
