服直 / Fu Zhi (late Han)
Updated · 1 episodes · 1 show · 1 source notes
Overview
服直 / Fu Zhi is the Ba Commandery rebel leader in Hanji 826. His movement is small in scale but politically important because its suppression failure gives 梁冀 a pretext to punish 种暠 and 应承.
Current Profile
Fu Zhi gathers several hundred followers in Ba Commandery and calls himself Heavenly King. The episode presents him as one of several 145 CE disorder nodes alongside Xianbei attacks, Lujiang and Liyang unrest, and Xu-Yang banditry.
His revolt is not currently synthesized as a durable regime project. Its main wiki significance is the administrative afterlife: failed suppression becomes the occasion for arrests, Li Gu’s memorial, and Liang Na’s sentence reduction.
Key Characteristics
- Ba Commandery rebel with several hundred followers.
- Uses the title Heavenly King as a claim of extraordinary authority.

Evidence
- Revolt identity: Hanji 826 says Fu Zhi gathers several hundred people in Ba Commandery.

Qualifications
The current source does not preserve Fu Zhi’s origins, doctrine, final fate, or connections to later Ba-Shu religious uprisings. The transcript form 扶植 is normalized to 服直 from the received Tongjian passage.
What Changed
- Created Fu Zhi’s page as a bounded Ba Commandery rebel case.
- Kept the page separate from later Five-Pecks and Yizhou revolt actors until a source makes a connection.
