格森星 / Gethen
格森星 / Gethen, also called Winter in the episode, is the planet at the center of Le Guin’s 《黑暗的左手》. In 36.黑暗的左手：流放与爱的未来往事, 金利·艾 / Genly Ai arrives there as an envoy of the 艾库曼 / Ekumen and tries to persuade its nations to join a wider alliance.
The source treats Gethen as a social thought experiment, not just an alien landscape.
