公子喜 / Gongzi Xi appears in 《资治通鉴·周纪》08丨一代名将吴起惨死（3） as 田衍’s son. After 田武 kills Tian Yan, the episode says Tian Wu first installs Gongzi Xi as a puppet ruler of 齐国 rather than immediately taking the title himself.

The arrangement does not last. Tian Wu later kills Gongzi Xi and rules directly as the Tian-family Qi Huan Gong, making Gongzi Xi a source-scoped marker for the violent succession layer inside 田氏代齐.
