Gregor Strasser

Overview

Gregor Strasser was a Nazi organizer associated with the party’s expansion beyond Bavaria, a more socially radical emphasis within National Socialism, Joseph Goebbels’s early movement path, a failed 1932 attempt to split Hitler’s coalition, and his own murder during the Night of the Long Knives.

The 1920s source credits Strasser with helping move the Nazis from a mainly Catholic Bavarian movement into Protestant northern Germany.
