关羽 / Guan Yu
关羽 / Guan Yu enters the wiki through Hanji 1013 as a 刘备-aligned general temporarily in 曹操’s camp before the fall of 下邳. The source says he repeatedly asks Cao Cao to give him 杜夫人 after the city is taken, explaining that his own wife has not borne a son.
The request has the opposite effect. Cao Cao initially agrees, but Guan Yu’s repeated reminders make him curious; after seeing Lady Du himself, Cao Cao takes her into his own household. In this source, Guan Yu’s role is not a full biography but a contrast case: another man’s desire first signals Lady Du’s value to Cao Cao.
