汉阳郡 / Hanyang Commandery (late Han) is a Liangzhou-region commandery whose current wiki profile now has three bounded roles: an early An-era Shanggui rebellion setting, a later Gai Xun appointment branch after Qiang-front survival, and the besieged commandery where Fu Xie chooses office-duty martyrdom after Geng Bi’s army collapses.

Current Profile

Hanji 786 supplies the earliest current layer. Hanyang men Du Qi, Du Jigong, Wang Xin, and others join Qiang forces and occupy Shanggui. Hanyang administrator Zhao Bo has Du Qi assassinated, but Du Jigong and Wang Xin continue resistance until Tang Xi defeats and kills Wang Xin, after which Du Jigong flees toward the Qiang leader Dianling.

Hanji 930 adds a later appointment branch. After Gai Xun survives defeat and captivity in the Qiang field, Yang Yong recommends him and Gai Xun concurrently holds Hanyang. This makes the commandery part of Gai Xun’s reputation-to-office arc before later anti-eunuch material.

Hanji 937 turns Hanyang into the setting of terminal frontier collapse. After Geng Bi’s army mutinies at Didao, rebels surround Hanyang while the city has too few troops and no food. Fu Xie refuses escape, sends Fu Gan away under Yang Hui’s protection, rejects Huang Yan’s surrender mission, and dies fighting.
