侯成 / Hou Cheng (late Han)
侯成 / Hou Cheng (late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 1025 as a 吕布 subordinate inside besieged 下邳. After a lost good horse is recovered, his fellow officers congratulate him with gifts, and Hou Cheng prepares wine and meat while sending the first portion to Lü Bu.
The gesture fails because Lü Bu has just issued a ban on alcohol. Lü Bu reads the offering as an attempt to make him drunk and plot against him, turning a loyalty performance into fear and anger. Hou Cheng then joins 宋宪 and 魏续, captures 陈宫 and 高顺, and surrenders troops to 曹操. The source therefore makes Hou Cheng the proximate actor in 猜疑触发的部下倒戈 before the final Hanji 1026 surrender-room outcome.
