华孟 / Hua Meng is a 145 CE Liyang bandit leader whose self-enthronement claim and attack on Jiujiang become part of the southeast unrest layer in Hanji 826. 滕抚 defeats him after earlier Xu-Yang pacification work.

Hua Meng appears after anti-bandit pressure has already reduced other Xu-Yang rebel leaders. He rises at Liyang, calls himself Black Emperor, attacks Jiujiang Commandery, and kills the administrator Yang Cen.

Teng Fu then defeats Hua Meng and pacifies the southeast. In the current wiki, Hua Meng functions as a source-scoped rebel and as evidence that localized military success still leaves adjacent commandery unrest to be handled by credible commanders.
