桓楚 / Huan Chu enters the wiki through Qinji 128-7 as a fugitive figure whom 殷通, governor of 会稽郡, wants to recruit for anti-秦国 command. The episode says Huan Chu is hiding in marshland and that outsiders do not know where he is.
His main role in this source is indirect. 项梁 claims that only 项羽 knows Huan Chu’s location, using that claim as the pretext to bring armed Xiang Yu into the meeting with Yin Tong. Huan Chu therefore matters less as an acted character than as the cover story that enables 会稽郡守府夺权.
