皇甫郦 / Huangfu Li (late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 986 as the envoy 汉献帝 sends to mediate between 李傕 and 郭汜. Guo Si accepts the settlement attempt, but Li Jue refuses and argues that Guo Si is beneath him.
Huangfu Li then turns mediation into direct remonstrance. He invokes 董卓’s death at 吕布’s hands, says Li Jue’s seizure of the emperor is worse than Guo Si’s seizure of ministers, and warns that 张济, 杨奉, and White Wave-linked actors already see Li Jue’s conduct as wrong. Li Jue expels him and sends 王昌 after him, making Huangfu Li a case where accurate counsel increases personal danger.
