胡封 / Hu Feng (late Han)

胡封 / Hu Feng enters the wiki through Hanji 984 as the figure named in the Hou Hanshu variant of 樊稠’s death. The page is deliberately narrow because the source uses Hu Feng only inside that variant.

In the variant, 李傕 is jealous of Fan Chou’s military prestige and army support. He invites Fan Chou to a banquet, gets him drunk, and has Hu Feng kill him. The main sequence in the same source instead places Fan Chou’s death after 李利 reports Fan Chou’s friendly contact with 韩遂 and Fan Chou later asks for troops.

The wiki therefore treats Hu Feng as part of a source-variant death mechanism rather than as proof that the banquet version has displaced the meeting version.
