Jamie Wolanski
Jamie Wolanski is the game consultant in BOARD GAMES 3: What’s in a name? who translates Sell Me a Sasquatch from an internal favorite into a retail test. Earlier in the project she praised the mechanic while warning that the name and theme would be decisive.
Her main contribution is the Retail Shelf Appeal frame. She explains that shoppers may only notice a board game from a few feet away and for a few seconds, and that big-box game purchases often involve gift buying or an immediate game-night need. Her positive reaction to the Sasquatch, Bigfoot, and Yeti direction gives the Planet Money team confidence that the theme can work with the likely shopper.
