景阳 / Jing Yang
景阳 / Jing Yang enters the wiki through 《资治通鉴·周纪》96丨毛遂自荐（6） as the 楚国 general already leading a rescue force during the 邯郸 crisis.
His role is brief but structurally useful. The episode says Chu and Zhao do not directly border each other, so Jing Yang’s army cannot simply move to Handan without the Wei route problem being solved. Once 信陵君 seizes 晋鄙’s army and moves north, he sends word to the Chu force, and the Wei-Chu-Zhao side can finally cooperate against 秦国.
Jing Yang therefore functions as the Chu-side proof that 毛遂’s earlier hezong success was real but incomplete. Chu commitment existed; it needed 魏国’s forced participation to become battlefield relief.
