晋文公
晋文公 appears in 109.闲聊左传之春秋运动会! both as a rule-conscious warfare example and as the ruler in the [[WeiChou|魏犨]] jumping story. The episode invokes “退避三舍” as part of its broader claim that Spring-Autumn war still contains shared expectations and visible rules.
In the Wei Chou section, Jin Wen Gong’s attack on Cao is also used to explain memory, gratitude, and punishment in interstate politics. He protects Xi Fuji for earlier help during exile, then has to decide how to punish the men who burned Xi’s house. Wei Chou survives by proving he can still serve militarily, while Dian Xie does not.
