纪武 / Ji Wu enters this wiki as a palace witness in 谢光’s report on 汉成帝’s missing sons. Hanji 571 uses him in the 曹宫 infant case, while Hanji 572 makes him a key handler and later witness in the 徐美人 sealed-box case.

Ji Wu’s durable role is witness under pressure. In Hanji 571, when a Zhao Zhaoyi-linked messenger asks whether Cao Gong’s child has died, Ji Wu says the boy is alive and memorializes that Chengdi has no son, so the child should be preserved regardless of the mother’s rank. That makes him one of the few figures in the report who tries to keep imperial bloodline preservation visible.

Hanji 572 gives Ji Wu the second case. Chengdi sends him a sealed box through Wu Gong, with instruction that the box contains a child corpse and must be buried secretly. Ji Wu later buries it near the Yulou wall. The host treats the disclosure to Ji Wu as suspicious: it creates a witness to the box contents despite the supposed secrecy of the killing.
