John Watson / 华生 is the Holmes narrator figure used in 144. 被诅咒的木乃伊：福尔摩斯会和老舍联手探案吗？ as one half of 《被诅咒的木乃伊》’s manuscript game. In the source’s account, Watson’s version of events restores 福尔摩斯 to the controlled, brilliant detective image after 夏目漱石 has described the same encounter as chaotic, comic, and nearly deranged.
The episode therefore treats Watson as more than an assistant who records deductions. His narrative voice is a stabilizing convention inside Holmes pastiche: when Watson tells the story, readers know how to read Holmes’s behavior, deductions, and eccentricity. When Soseki tells it, the same behavior becomes strange enough to create a second puzzle about perception and reliability.
