君王后 / Jun Wang Hou appears in 《资治通鉴·周纪》73丨历史上自由恋爱的开创者是谁？ first as 太史角’s daughter in 莒城. She notices that the household servant 田法章 has unusual appearance and bearing, treats him with sympathy, and learns that he is the son of 齐湣王.
The episode uses her relationship with Tian Fazhang as the title’s “free love” case. Their private bond forms while he is a fugitive and before he can offer a formal dynastic match; after he is restored as 齐襄王, he brings her out and makes her queen.
The source also projects her later political importance, saying she governed with her son for more than forty years and that Qin did not dare attack during that period. The wiki keeps that as a source-scoped claim until a later source develops the post-restoration reign.
《资治通鉴·周纪》79丨史上用耕牛 打胜仗第一人 adds the family-ritual cost of that crisis relationship.
