居武 / Ju Wu enters the wiki through 《资治通鉴·秦纪》114-2｜燕国刺杀秦始皇为何会选荆轲 as 燕太子丹’s teacher or adviser in 燕国. When Dan asks how to answer 秦国 pressure, Ju Wu proposes the ordinary strategic route: invite 魏国, 楚国, and 齐国 back into 合纵 and also seek support from 匈奴.
The episode makes Ju Wu the voice of slow-statecraft caution. He also warns that sheltering the Qin fugitive 樊无忌 is dangerous and recommends sending Fan Wuji into Xiongnu territory rather than keeping him in Yan. Taizi Dan refuses, choosing an honor claim toward a surrendered guest over Ju Wu’s security logic.
Ju Wu does not become the architect of the assassination plan. After Taizi Dan dismisses the coalition and fugitive-removal answers as too slow or dishonorable, Ju Wu recommends 田光. The source therefore presents him as an adviser whose preferred strategy fails politically, but who still routes the prince toward the social world that produces 荆轲.
