Updated · 1 episodes · 1 show · 1 source notes
Overview
具瑗 / Ju Yuan is a Huan-era eunuch whose current wiki role is source-bounded to the 159 CE overthrow of 梁冀. Hanji 848 presents him as one of 汉桓帝’s inner conspirators: he first arrests Liang’s palace monitor, then helps carry the armed operation against Liang’s mansion, and is later rewarded as one of the 桓帝五侯.
Current Profile
Hanji 848 makes Ju Yuan important because his actions occur at the point where palace proximity turns into command execution. Liang Ji sends Zhang Yun into the palace to watch 单超 and the other suspected eunuchs, but Ju Yuan arrests him for entering from outside and plotting improperly. The arrest clears Liang’s palace eye before Huan publicly convenes the shangshu channel and moves against Liang.
The same episode then places Ju Yuan in the armed phase. Huan orders him to lead more than one thousand left-right riders, Huben, Yulin guards, and armed specialists together with Sili xiaowei Zhang Biao to surround Liang’s mansion. After Liang and 孙寿 die, Ju Yuan is named in the five-member county-marquis reward group with Shan Chao, 徐璜, 左悺, and 唐衡.

Qualifications

The transcript form 巨爱 is normalized to 具瑗 because the office sequence, eunuch role, and Five Marquises membership match the received late-Han route, but the source note still keeps that normalization visible.
