孔熙 / Kong Xi enters the wiki through Hanji 167 part 2 as one of 韩信’s named subordinate commanders in the 垓下之战 formation. The source places him on the left side of Han Xin’s first line, paired with 陈贺 on the right.
His role is tactical rather than biographical. As Han Xin’s center yields under 项羽’s assault, Kong Xi and Chen He keep pressing into the depth and threaten the Chu army’s rear. The page therefore treats Kong Xi as part of 纵深分层防御: the wings make the apparent retreat dangerous instead of allowing it to become simple collapse.
