李璧 / Li Bi enters the wiki through Hanji 153 part 2 as a former Qin cavalry specialist recommended when 刘邦 wants to build a mounted force after the 彭城之战. The source groups him with 骆甲 as someone with the technical background needed for cavalry organization.
Li Bi’s most important action is refusing to be the top commander. He argues that because he is originally a Qin person, Han troops may not submit to him easily, so the main command should go to a trusted Liu-side figure who is skilled at riding. He accepts a supporting role under 灌婴, becoming one of the specialists behind 汉军骑兵建设.
