栗腹 / Li Fu (Warring States)
栗腹 / Li Fu is the 燕国 envoy and policy advocate in 《资治通鉴·秦纪》100-2｜六国竟然同时为他吊丧. 燕王喜 sends him to 赵国 under the pretext of making an alliance, and he gives 赵丹 / 赵孝成王 five hundred gold for wine expenses.
On return, Li Fu reports that Zhao’s adult males died in 长平之战 and that the children left behind are not yet grown, so Yan should attack. The episode treats his advice as the central diagnostic mistake: he converts visible demographic trauma into a conclusion that Zhao’s military capacity has disappeared.
In the 鄗代之战, Li Fu commands the Yan attack toward Hao and is defeated by 廉颇. His page therefore anchors post-disaster predation misread: the effort to exploit a neighbor’s wound can fail if the attacker ignores surviving institutions, commanders, and fighting culture.
