郦商 / Li Shang enters the wiki through Qinji 136 as 郦食其’s younger brother. The transcript writes the name as “丽商,” but the role matches the historical 郦商, so this page keeps the canonical form.
After 陈留 falls, Li Shiqi recommends Li Shang to 刘邦. Liu Bang appoints him as a general and gives him a large share of Chenliu’s former troops to lead, making Li Shang part of the immediate military payoff from Li Shiqi’s persuasion and Chenliu’s surrender.
The episode does not yet develop Li Shang’s independent career. For this source, his role is a source-scoped extension of the Li Shiqi access-and-reward branch: persuasion wins not only advice uptake, but family placement inside Liu Bang’s expanding command structure.
