刘艾 / Liu Ai enters the wiki through Hanji 988 as the attendant who helps 汉献帝 survive the immediate 李傕 and 郭汜 pressure in 195 CE. When Qiang-Hu soldiers harass the emperor’s lodging, Emperor Xian sends Liu Ai to 贾诩, whose banquet-and-promise intervention detaches those supporters from Li Jue.
The episode then places Liu Ai at the bridge scene when the emperor leaves Chang’an. Liu Ai shouts that the carriage carries the Son of Heaven, and 汉献帝’s visible rebuke makes Guo Si’s soldiers stand aside.
