刘和 / Liu He (Late Han)
Hanji 954 adds Liu He’s earlier hostage-like position before his later use as an anti-公孙瓒 banner. The source says Liu He is serving as shizhong in Chang’an after following 汉献帝 west, but the host reads that service as practical control by 董卓.
This matters for 刘虞’s refusal of the imperial title. If Liu Yu accepted the title offered by 袁绍 and 韩馥, Liu He and the family could become exposed to Dong Zhuo’s retaliation. Hanji 954 therefore makes Liu He part of Liu Yu’s title-risk calculus before Hanji 998 makes him a posthumous legitimacy banner.
刘和 / Liu He (Late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 998 as the son of 刘虞. After Liu Yu’s death, 乌桓, 鲜卑, 鲜于辅, and 袁绍-aligned forces welcome Liu He as a banner for their campaign against 公孙瓒.
The source does not develop Liu He’s independent actions. His function is political: Liu Yu’s surviving line gives the anti-Gongsun coalition a name around which revenge, local legitimacy, and external military support can gather.
