刘郃 / Liu He (late-Han situ)
刘郃 was a late-Han situ and imperial-clan figure in Hanji 918. He is distinct from 刘和, the later son of 刘虞.
Hanji 912 adds a source-scoped antecedent to Liu He’s later anti-eunuch page role. The transcript renders the name as 大鸿胪刘河; this page links it here because the late-Han office and later 178-179 Cai Yong/Cheng Huang field match the same Liu He branch. In this episode, old resentment involving 蔡邕, Cai’s uncle Cai Zhi, Liu He, and 阳球 becomes the material 程璜 uses for an anonymous accusation after Cai Yong’s memorial leaks.
In the episode, 陈球 and 刘纳 press Liu He to act against 曹节 by invoking the state crisis, Liu He’s royal-clan identity, his office, and the death of his brother 刘鯈 in the earlier 窦武 anti-eunuch attempt. Liu He recognizes the danger of eunuch surveillance but still joins the plot with 阳球, and is killed after the plan leaks through 程璜.
