汉中王刘嘉 / Liu Jia, Hanzhong King is a source-scoped Eastern Han actor whose current profile combines a compressed Hanji 670 talent-transfer branch with the more detailed Hanji 686 Hanzhong/Wudu conflict. The page is deliberately disambiguated from 刘贾, the Chu-Han and early Western Han figure, because this Liu Jia belongs to the Guangwu-era Hanzhong field around 延岑, 公孙述, 贾复, and 陈俊.

Hanji 670 gives Liu Jia a short but important side role. In the source’s compressed Hanzhong notice, Yan Cen rises and occupies Hanzhong; Liu Jia resists and the episode then uses him to explain how Jia Fu and the Nanyang man Chen Jun are recommended to Liu Xiu. Liu Jia judges Jia Fu to have broad ambition and sends both men toward Liu Xiu.

Hanji 686 presents Liu Jia in a fuller military sequence. After Yan Cen rebels and surrounds 南郑, Liu Jia is defeated and flees, while Yan Cen occupies 汉中 and attacks 武都.
