刘如意 / Liu Ruyi
刘如意 / Liu Ruyi enters the wiki through Hanji 178 part 2 as 刘邦’s young son whom Liu Bang makes king of 代国 after 刘喜 flees the Xiongnu-linked attack.
The source does not yet develop Liu Ruyi’s later succession politics. Its immediate point is territorial: a vulnerable northern kingdom remains a Liu-family appointment, but the recipient changes from Liu Bang’s elder brother to a son after Liu Xi’s failure at the frontier.
Hanji 180 moves Liu Ruyi again, from Dai to the Zhao kingship after 张敖 is released but stripped of the title. The source uses the move as part of Liu Bang’s broader reduction of exposed or suspect non-Liu royal autonomy after the Guan Gao case.
Hanji 181 turns Liu Ruyi from a replacement Zhao king into 刘邦’s favored alternative heir. The episode says Liu Bang keeps him in Chang’an, sees him as more like himself than 刘盈, and considers replacing the crown prince with him. The source’s central point is that Liu Ruyi has neither a front-court bloc nor durable protection: 戚姬 / 戚夫人 can plead for him, and 周昌 is later sent to Zhao, but this still leaves him exposed under 备位继承人保护失灵.
