刘鯈 / Liu Tiao (late Han)

刘鯈 was the brother of 刘郃 and an earlier casualty of anti-eunuch politics, cited in Hanji 918 as part of the pressure on Liu He to move against 曹节.

The episode uses Liu Tiao’s death under 窦武 to make the persuasion of Liu He emotionally and politically charged: Chen Qiu and Liu Na argue that Liu He already knows the cost of eunuch dominance and therefore should not stay passive in high office.
