刘喜 / Liu Xi (Dai king)
刘喜 / Liu Xi enters the wiki through Hanji 174 as 刘邦’s elder brother. In the episode’s founding settlement, Liu Bang makes him king of 代国, a northern kingdom assembled from Yunzhong, Yanmen, Dai, and related counties.
The page uses the suffix “Dai king” because “Liu Xi” is a common enough romanized name to need a stable semantic route. In this source, Liu Xi matters as a same-surname royal placeholder in the northern security map rather than as a fully developed character.
Hanji 178 part 2 gives Liu Xi’s Dai appointment an early failure. When Xiongnu and Han Wang Xin-linked forces attack Dai, Liu Xi flees. Liu Bang demotes him to Heyang marquis and gives Dai to 刘如意, turning Liu Xi into a case where kinship title does not guarantee frontier competence.
