龙且 / Long Ju

龙且 / Long Ju enters the wiki through Hanji 159-1 as a 项羽-side general whose counterattack limits the immediate payoff from 英布’s defection. After Ying Bu flees to 刘邦, Long Ju defeats the remaining Jiujiang force and restores Chu control over 九江国.

The episode then moves Long Ju north toward the central front. His support strengthens Xiang Yu around the 荥阳相持, where Chu captures 敖仓, controls Yellow River grain transport, and repeatedly attacks Han’s supply corridor. Long Ju’s role therefore links the Jiujiang defection branch back to the material pressure on Liu Bang at Xingyang and Chenggao.

Hanji 160 part 1 names Long Ju as one of the few upright and reliable Chu-side figures 陈平 believes still matter around 项羽. The episode does not give Long Ju a new action, but it makes his trusted-core status part of the target field for Chen Ping’s 反间流言楔入.

Hanji 160 part 2 places Long Ju in the old Chu merit-command pillar of 项羽阵营派系裂缝. He is not the direct target of the staged envoy reception, but the source uses his grouping with 范增, 钟离眜, 陈婴, and 周殷 to show why damaging Xiang Yu’s trust in this faction weakens Chu beyond one adviser.
