庐江郡 / Lujiang Commandery enters the wiki through Hanji 983 as the commandery held by 陆康 when 袁术 demands grain. When Lu Kang refuses, Yuan Shu orders 孙策 to attack and promises that Lujiang will become Sun Ce’s reward if he wins.

The source makes Lujiang a credibility test. Sun Ce does win the commandery, but Yuan Shu appoints 刘勋 instead. Lujiang therefore becomes the second concrete office in Yuan Shu’s broken-promise chain after 九江郡, and it helps explain why Sun Ce’s later departure from Yuan Shu is not only ambition but accumulated distrust.
