卢绾 / Lu Wan
卢绾 / Lu Wan enters the wiki through Hanji 155-2 as a Han-side figure sent with 刘贾 to assist 彭越. The task appears after 刘邦 accepts 韩信’s northern campaign but keeps drawing elite troops back toward the main 荥阳相持 front.
The page keeps Lu Wan source-scoped. In this episode, his significance is not independent command detail but the redistribution of the anti-Chu grain-line mission away from Han Xin’s constrained northern army and toward Peng Yue’s rear-pressure role.
Hanji 162-3 extends that role into execution. Lu Wan is again paired with Liu Jia as Liu Bang sends infantry and cavalry across the Yellow River to strengthen Peng Yue. The reinforced harassment helps take a string of Chu-linked cities and pulls 项羽 away from the 成皋 front.
Hanji 169 gives Lu Wan a post-Xiang-Yu pacification task. 刘邦 sends him with 刘贾 against 共尉 at Jiangling after Gong Wei refuses to submit; the city falls only after additional Han support, making Lu Wan part of the remaining-resistance cleanup.
Hanji 171 part 2 moves Lu Wan from trusted aide and cleanup commander into Yan kingship. After 臧荼 rebels and is captured, Liu Bang grants Yan to Lu Wan, and the host stresses their same-street, same-birthday childhood intimacy as the real trust basis. The episode also reads the Zang Tu campaign as giving Lu Wan a visible military contribution before the appointment, so a personal-trust choice can still be presented inside a merit frame.
Hanji 191 supplies the reversal of that trust experiment. During the 陈豨之乱, Lu Wan sends 张胜 to 匈奴, where 臧衍 argues that if Chen Xi is eliminated quickly, 燕国 will become the next different-surname kingship target. Lu Wan first suspects Zhang Sheng and asks to punish his family, but after hearing the explanation he secretly protects Zhang Sheng, sends him and his family back to Xiongnu, and uses 范齐 to encourage Chen Xi to keep resisting.
The episode therefore changes Lu Wan from a solved trust substitute into a final proof that personal intimacy cannot neutralize the structure of 异姓诸侯王猜忌. Lu Wan’s action is recorded as covert and disloyal, but the source frames the motive as fear and defensive delay rather than an immediate plan to seize the empire. When informers and Xiongnu surrenderers expose the hidden envoy channel, 刘邦 sends 审食其 and 赵尧 to investigate, then orders 樊哙 to attack Yan while offering pardon and rank to officials and residents who separate themselves from Lu Wan.
