卢植 / Lu Zhi (late Han)
Hanji 945 adds Lu Zhi’s warning before the palace violence of Hanji 946. As a respected senior scholar-official, he tells 何进 that 董卓’s entry into the capital will certainly produce disorder, but He Jin continues the summons.
This makes Lu Zhi one of the source’s early boundary figures for 外兵入京升级风险. Before he later rebukes 段珪 and resists Dong Zhuo’s deposition proposal, he is already trying to stop the move that gives Dong Zhuo a path into the court field.
Hanji 946 adds Lu Zhi’s first crisis intervention before his Hanji 948 remonstrance against 董卓. During the palace flight, Lu Zhi sees 段珪 taking 何太后 along a gallery, rebukes him from below, and forces the release of the dowager.
The source makes Lu Zhi a repeated boundary figure in late-Han court coercion. In Hanji 946 he interrupts eunuch control over the queen mother; in Hanji 948 he challenges Dong Zhuo’s attempt to convert armed pressure into deposition procedure.
卢植 / Lu Zhi (late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 948 as the senior official who openly resists 董卓’s proposed deposition of 刘辩 / 弘农王. He argues that the precedents Dong Zhuo invokes do not fit: earlier deposed rulers had serious faults, while Liu Bian is young and has not committed a comparable offense.
The episode makes Lu Zhi the clearest remonstrance figure inside the forced replacement scene. Dong Zhuo wants to kill him, but 蔡邕 and others warn that Lu Zhi’s reputation is high enough that killing him would frighten the realm and deepen opposition. Dong Zhuo therefore removes him from office instead, after which Lu Zhi withdraws to Shanggu and later briefly responds to 袁绍 before dying.
