Hanji 962 supplies Meiwu’s construction logic before the post-董卓 confiscation in Hanji 963. The episode says Dong Zhuo builds a massive high-walled fortress at Mei, stores enough grain for decades, and frames it as a fallback if domination of the realm fails.
This makes Meiwu a direct instance of 筑城避世安全幻觉 before the later 易京 comparison. Dong Zhuo’s walls and grain look like safety, but the same source shows his closest guard relationship with 吕布 becoming unstable through 贴身侍卫反噬.
Hanji 963 adds Meiwu’s direct post-董卓 confiscation role. After Dong Zhuo is killed, the episode says the court takes the fortress and its stored gold, silver, silk, and valuables, turning the private hoard into visible evidence of the old regime’s extraction.
郿坞 / Meiwu Fortress enters the wiki through Hanji 998 as 董卓’s fortress, invoked as a comparison for 公孙瓒’s 易京. The episode’s point is not architectural detail but political diagnosis: both strongholds embody a belief that walls and grain can substitute for initiative and people-support.
